2.  Does the advertisement use 90% whitespace?  If not, how much was used?

4.  What is one area that needs work?

Painting Tools- Grapes

Painting Tools: GRAPES!

Set up a new document: 8.5” x 11”, CMYK color mode

Create an artistic composition using the following criteria:

1. Draw a bunch of grapes.
1. Fill them with a purple radial gradient.
2. Group them together.
2. Draw a stem using the paint brush tool.
1. choose a new brush in the bushes panel (other than an oval brush)
3. Draw at least 3 leaves using the pen tool.
1. Fill the leaves with a linear gradient
2. Draw the veins on the leaves with the pencil tool.
3. Group all of the elements together.
4. Use the rectangle tool to draw a table. Fill it with a pattern texture.
5. Use the blob brush to draw a shadow underneath the grapes.
1. Change the transparency
6. Add a slogan. What text can you add to get people to stop and purchase your grapes?

1.  made a blog
2.  emailed it to Mrs. Schiefelbein
kschiefelbein@dce.k12.wi.us

3. Find an example of Graphic Design.  Save and Post it.  Include a paragraph
stating why you think it is a good example.

4.  Add 5 links to National Graphic Designers
5. Add 5 links to Local Wisconsin artists- any type
